Peregian Beach Community House is a welcoming place in the heart of Peregian Beach. As a not‑for‑profit, it exists to serve the community.
Located in a beautiful spot, the House provides flexible spaces for many activities, all within an award‑winning, eco‑friendly building.

Membership

Members receive a monthly newsletter about activities in the House and vote at the Annual General Meeting.

SUPPORTING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
As part of the Rufous St community, we work with and support local organisations in our neighbourhood such as the Peregian Tennis Club, Veggie Village, and the Peregian Beach Community Kindergarten.
Veggie Village is all about bringing people together and helping to make our beautiful part of the world a little better.
Veggie Village is a community garden, growing organic fruit, herbs and vegetables. Membership is open to anyone who wants to learn more about gardening, share their knowledge or just make some friends.
Back in 1980 when Peregian Beach was a tiny speck on the map, a motivated group of tennis-playing families established this not-for-profit club.
Fourty years later the club is still thriving, enjoying a stable and loyal membership base of around 150 people of all ages, including seniors well into their 80s.
Set in leafy one acre gardens, Peregian Beach Community Kindergarten is a community-based centre which offers a strong family atmosphere where children (and their parents) feel a clear sense of security and belonging.
